Observations of the Spotted Tussock Moth Larval Stage

On July 18, 2007, we captured a female moth at the Cape Perpetua Visitor Center in Yachats, Oregon. We took her home and placed her in a mesh cage so we could watch her. With help from a friend, we found out the moth is called a Spotted Tussock Moth, Lophocampa maculata.
